My Ideal Halloween Costume

Today I went to Lucy In The Sky, a very nice costume shop in Austin (expensive as well unfortunaly) and  tried this awesome Sailor Moon costume on. Don't I look like her? haha
I haven't rented it because I'm already doing a friend a favor by dressing up as Princess Leia.
But one day, or if I have another party this year, I will rent my favorite one!

xoxo!

Paulie & The Cereal Box

For those of you who don't know, Paulie is one of my two cockatiels. His latest mischiefs are usually on my sidebar, but yesterday I caught one on my phone and had to post it.

# 1: Paulie finds the cereal box...

#2: Paulie actually goes inside the cereal box. He has some kind of fascination for boxes of all types... he definitely had to have one for the one that carries a snack he likes...

#3: Paulie knows he's being watched and decides to continue, but cooperates with the camera. He knows he's being mischievous...

That's the spirit!

The other day I was driving home. Traffic wasn't too smooth; the sky was a little gloomy. Another stop light... and suddenly, I saw a bumper sticker that made me laugh:

(sorry for the blurry picture, it's a phone camera)

The sticker said "This is it! I don't have another car."  Considering this was probably the oldest car among the other surrounding ones, it made me chuckle. I love it when people read your mind in advance and buy a bumper sticker to respond to that. I also love the fact that this person is content with what he has at the moment (it seemed that way), no matter how old the car model is. I think guys that value what they have, even if it's not the newest thing, are more attractive than guys who want to lure you with their "newest model and fancy sound system and turbocharger," don't you think?

Complaint + Solution

Here's a little complaint... I dislike automatic toilets!... very much. First of all, they waste large amounts of water! How many times does it flush without a need? many...  Secondly, they
make a lot of noise, and that can startle you continuously; you lean forward a bit- there it goes, you turn to fix the toiler paper- there it goes, you need to grab something from your
purse- there it goes, you want to see if there is someone else in the bathroom
because you heard a noise- there it goes.
So today at the gym, I found the perfect solution :)

I won't always have an extra shirt with me, but when I do... no more water gone to waste :P

PS: Bacteria on my shirt? Pshh... it'll get washed
