Thought: Today I want to dedicate this post to my mom as well as all
the other wonderful mothers of this world (the ones with us
and the ones watching over us). This weekend it's their day.
I can't believe they only have one a year... there
should be more Mother holidays, don't you think?
My brothers and I are going to give her a card and
some other little things (she reads this, so shhh).
But today I want to dedicate two songs to her and
show you a few wonderful quotes I found.
Mothers are special, everyone. Tell her how much you love her,
kiss her, hug her, go with her somewhere special. Sometimes
we take time for granted, and then later regret not spending
enough time with her. So do it! and not just for her special day, but
everytime you can.
Two songs I dedicate to my mom:
[...Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
For parting my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
You pick me up when I fall down
You ring the bell before they count me out
If I was drowning you would part the sea
And risk your own life to rescue me...]
[...You are so beautiful to me
Such joy and happiness you bring
Such joy and happiness you bring
Like a dream
A guiding light that shines in the night
Heavens gift to me
You are so beautiful to me...]
Quotes: M is for the million things she gives me
O means only that she's soft to hold
T for the things she tries to teach me
H is for her heart of purest gold
E for her eyes with love light shining
R means right and right she'll always be
Put them all together they spell Mother,
A word that means the world to me

Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever. ~Author Unknown
Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible. ~Marion C. Garretty, quoted in A Little Spoonful of Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul
God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers. ~Jewish Proverb
My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. ~Graycie Harmon
For those of you who may not have your mama here anymore,
remember that she will always be in your heart, and from wherever
she is, I'm sure she continues to love you and care for you in a
way the only mothers can. The love they give is so strong, that no
physical change could ever take it away. God bless them <3
